Detailed Review
The Shark Rocket Pro DLX HV371 is a corded stick vacuum that converts into a handheld cleaner for floor-to-ceiling maintenance. Powered by a 500.0 watt motor, it is designed for households needing thorough carpet cleaning and pet hair pickup across home surfaces.
Handling is simplified by a lightweight body weighing less than 10 lbs along with Advanced Swivel Steering and a low-profile design that slides under furniture. For quick transitions, an easy-release foot pedal detaches the wand from the nozzle without bending down. The unit features an XL 0.68-quart dust cup with an easy-empty design to minimize interruptions while cleaning.
This model comes equipped with specialized pet tools made to capture embedded pet hair from surfaces and reach tight spots that are hard to access. The versatile setup allows users to clean carpets, furniture, and above-floor areas using the removable handheld configuration.
Because this model relies on a corded power supply, movement is bounded by outlet placement. Additionally, while the 0.68-quart dust cup offers extended use, larger homes may still require periodic emptying during heavy cleaning tasks.
Verdict: The Shark Rocket Pro DLX HV371 is a practical choice for pet owners and home owners looking for a lightweight stick vacuum that handles carpet cleaning and converts for overhead reaching. Its 5-year limited warranty provides long-term coverage for regular cleaning needs.
