Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum, Powered Lift-Away, HEPA Seal, Navy, AZ3002

The Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum (AZ3002) is a versatile home cleaning system designed for households dealing with pet hair, fine dust, and multi-surface flooring. Built around Shark's DuoClean PowerFins HairPro system, it pairs two distinct brushrolls to dig deep into carpet fibers while directly engaging hard floors. This setup allows you to clean carpets, area rugs, and bare floors in every pass without needing to switch floorheads.

For pet owners, hair management is a major focus. The primary brushroll actively cleans itself to prevent hair wrap around the roller during operation. When cleaning stairs, couch cushions, or upholstered furniture, the included HairPro Self-Cleaning Pet Power Brush provides motorized hair pickup. Above-floor cleaning is further simplified by the Powered Lift-Away design, which lets you detach the motorized pod from the wand to reach beneath low-profile furniture or carry the unit to clean stairs with the crevice tool or upholstery attachment.

Air filtration and maintenance are handled through an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal paired with a HEPA filter. Based on ASTM F1977 standards for particles 0.3 microns or larger, this system traps 99.9% of fine dust and allergens inside the vacuum rather than releasing them back into the room. To prevent lingering odors between cleanings, an integrated Odor Neutralizer Technology guards against bad smells inside the canister. Dust disposal is straightforward, featuring a removable dust cup that opens at the bottom to release dirt without direct contact.

While the feature set is extensive, there are a few practical trade-offs to keep in mind. The listing does not specify the unit's weight or power cord length, so buyers who prefer lightweight cleaners should take note. Additionally, maintaining the Odor Neutralizer Technology will require monitoring the freshening system over time, and the seller copy does not detail the exact replacement schedule for these cartridges.

Verdict: The Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum is a strong choice for pet owners and multi-surface homes requiring deep suction and reliable hair management. Its sealed HEPA filtration and lift-away versatility make it a practical all-in-one cleaner for whole-home maintenance.

A great fit if you:

• Have pets and need to clean embedded hair from carpets, stairs, and furniture without tangled brushrolls.
• Want high-level allergen protection with a sealed HEPA filtration system that traps fine particles.
• Clean a mix of hard floors, area rugs, and carpets along with hard-to-reach areas under low furniture.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a lightweight stick or canister vacuum with explicitly minimal dimensions.
• Do not want to manage odor neutralizer cartridges or specialized brushroll systems.
