WORX Cordless Mini Chainsaw, 20V 6" Pruning Saw, WG327

The WORX WG327 20V 6-inch Cordless Mini Chainsaw is a lightweight pruning saw designed for yard trimming and cutting thick limbs up to 6 inches. It suits yard owners and gardeners who need to manage tree branches without dragging out a full-sized gas chainsaw or dealing with extension cords.

Driven by a brushless motor, the saw drives its chain at 33 ft/s to deliver fast, clean cuts through wood. At just 3.1 pounds, the tool is light enough for single-handed operation, reducing arm fatigue during extended yard work. The included 2.0 Ah battery provides enough power for up to 160 cuts on 2-inch branches per charge, and works with the WORX PowerShare battery system across 20V, 40V, and 80V tools. For protection during use and storage, it features an upper safety guard, a hand guard, and a blade protective cover.

Trade-offs stem directly from its compact design. The 6-inch bar capacity means it cannot cut through heavy tree trunks or logs wider than 6 inches. Additionally, the kit includes a single 2.0 Ah battery, so tasks requiring extended cutting time will require pausing to recharge with the included 2A charger unless you already own extra WORX PowerShare batteries.

Verdict: This mini chainsaw is an excellent choice for homeowners needing a lightweight, manageable tool for routine branch trimming up to 6 inches. Its fast chain speed, compact frame, and battery cross-compatibility make quick work of small to medium yard maintenance tasks.
