Agri-Fab 45-0462 Push Broadcast Spreader,Orange & Black,130-lb Capacity

The Agri-Fab Push Broadcast Spreader is designed to tackle large lawn care tasks by evenly distributing fertilizer, seed, or turf treatments across open properties. It fits homeowners with generous yards who need a walk-behind spreader to cover significant ground without continuous refilling stops.

Featuring a 130-pound capacity hopper, this unit holds enough material to manage up to half an acre or 25,000 square feet per session. Its broadcast pattern reaches a 10 to 12 foot spread width for efficient passes across the lawn. The direct rod control system lets you adjust flow rates easily, while the 13-inch by 4-inch pneumatic tires ensure smooth movement over rough turf.

Shoppers should note that model 45-0462 has been officially replaced by model 45-0614. Additionally, because this is a manual walk-behind spreader, covering large areas requires steady physical effort, and listed specifications do not mention frame construction details or hopper material composition.

Verdict: The Agri-Fab spreader is ideal for homeowners maintaining up to a half-acre yard who want substantial material capacity and broad coverage. Its simple rod control and pneumatic tires make big turf jobs manageable.
