Dyson Ball Animal 3 Extra Corded Vacuum

The Dyson Ball Animal 3 Extra Corded Vacuum is an upright cleaner designed specifically for larger homes with pets. Engineered to remove dirt, allergens, and pet hair across your living space, it provides the suction and specialized tools needed to tackle big messes across multiple floor types.

Maintenance is simplified thanks to built-in de-tangling technology, which automatically clears wrapped hair from the brush bar as you clean. Navigating around furniture, table legs, and household obstacles is straightforward using Dyson's Ball technology, allowing for smooth, precise maneuvering with a simple turn of the wrist. In addition, three distinct cleaning modes let you optimize performance for different tasks and floor surfaces.

This Extra model comes fully equipped with five Dyson-engineered accessories to handle specialized cleaning tasks. It includes a groom tool designed specifically for medium and long-haired pets, a tangle-free turbine tool that removes pet hair from upholstery and car seats, a stair tool, a combination tool, and a tool holder. Built-in whole-machine filtration paired with Radial Root Cyclone technology increases suction while ensuring allergens remain trapped safely inside the unit rather than escaping into your home.

Because this is a full-sized corded upright model, it requires plugging into wall outlets and takes up more storage space than a compact stick vacuum. Using the specialized grooming attachment also requires a pet that is comfortable being groomed with a vacuum accessory.

Verdict: This upright vacuum is a capable choice for pet owners managing larger homes with multiple floor types. If you need powerful dirt removal, specialized pet attachments, and an automatic de-tangling brush bar, this model provides complete control over your home cleaning routine.

A great fit if you:

• Live in a larger home with pets that shed medium or long hair across floors and furniture.
• Want an upright vacuum equipped with specialized pet tools for grooming pets and cleaning upholstery or cars.
• Prefer a machine that automatically clears wrapped hair from the brush bar as you clean.
• Value advanced whole-machine filtration to keep dirt and allergens trapped inside the vacuum.

Consider something else if you:
