Greenworks 60V 16 in Cordless String Trimmer, 4.0 Ah Battery

The Greenworks 60V 16-inch Cordless String Trimmer provides targeted cutting power for property owners maintaining medium to large yards. Powered by a high-capacity 60V rechargeable battery system, it offers a clean, cable-free solution for clearing thick patches of grass, trimming hard-to-reach borders, and edging along driveways without relying on gas fuel mixtures or extension cords.

A high-efficiency brushless motor sits at the core of the trimmer, delivering strong and consistent cutting force through dense turf and stubborn weeds. The 16-inch cutting path covers substantial ground with every wide sweep, significantly reducing the total time needed to complete trimming work around fence lines and trees. When the cutting line eventually wears down, the integrated Load N' Go trimmer head simplifies reloading so you can resume yard work quickly without hassle.

Beyond standard line trimming, the tool functions as an expandable outdoor equipment hub thanks to its attachment-capable shaft design. You can connect compatible Greenworks attachments to convert the main power head into various yard care tools, maximizing tool utility while saving valuable garage storage space. To manage user fatigue during longer landscaping sessions, the tool package includes an adjustable shoulder strap that helps balance weight evenly across your body.

There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind before purchasing. The listed specifications do not state the total weight of the trimmer assembly or the specific thickness of the cutting line, which makes physical handling difficult to gauge strictly from the product details. In addition, extra shaft attachments must be purchased separately, and the included 4.0Ah battery and charger are restricted to the Greenworks 60V product ecosystem.

Verdict: This string trimmer is a solid fit for homeowners who want heavy-duty cordless cutting power along with multi-tool adaptability. Its 16-inch cutting width, quick line loading head, 4-year limited warranty, and cross-compatibility with 75+ tools make it a capable centerpiece for routine property maintenance.
