Husqvarna WeedEater 320iL Weed Eater, 16-Inch, with 4 Ah Battery & Charger

The Husqvarna 320iL is a cordless string trimmer built to manage lawn borders and clean up overgrown grass. Supplied as an all in one kit with a 4 Ah battery and charger included in the package, it provides a complete solution for yard maintenance without requiring separate battery purchases.

Featuring a 16-inch cutting width, this trimmer runs at faster cutting speeds while maintaining a 25 percent lighter design to help you complete trimming tasks quickly and comfortably. A practical feature is the dual-direction trimmer head, which lets you reverse line rotation to direct grass clippings away from hardscapes, paved walkways, and sensitive garden beds.

When encountering dense vegetation, a built in power boost mode supplies 20 percent more cutting power to clear thick weeds and heavy grass patches. The motor assembly incorporates an active cooling system that delivers consistent output and helps prolong overall battery life. Control is managed through a touchpad panel that starts the trimmer instantly, backed by an LED indicator that clearly displays whether the unit is powered on or off.

As for trade-offs, the listing notes that the visual appearance of the included 4 Ah battery may vary depending on the package. Utilizing the power boost mode for heavy clearing will also draw more current during operation. In addition, featuring a full battery kit with enhanced motor cooling puts this model at a higher price tier than simple basic trimmers.

Verdict: The Husqvarna 320iL is a capable choice for property owners who want a versatile cordless string trimmer with directional debris control and extra cutting power. Its combination of a 16-inch cutting width, active cooling, and simple touchpad operation makes it a reliable tool for keeping yard edges looking neat.
